Blogging requirements for April 1, 2011

  • Date the entry and remind the reader what book you are reading.

  • State the number of pages you have read this week.

  • Quote a favorite line from the book and discuss why it's your favorite line.

  • Insert a picture of your book. Look at the aesthetics of your entry....make it look professional.

Blogging requirements for Week of March 21-25, 2011.

  • Date the entry
  • State the name and the author of your novel for this second quarter
  • Explain where you got this book and why you chose this book.
  • Summarize what this book is about and what you've read so far.

Blogging content for FINAL BLOG: March 10, 2011

  • List the major and minor characters (at least 4) and write a paragraph describing them. Included any relevant literary terms, such as protaganist and antagonist
  • List a summary of the plot, but do not give away the ending
  • Give the book a rating (1 is poor; 5 is amazingly awesome).
  • Justify your rating. This should be one paragraph long
  • Reactions to classmates blog: Read several classmates' reviews. You can also go to other 2B sections' blogs, too. Then on your blog, write which book you might (or will) read next quarter based on these other blogs. Be sure to mention who had read it and written about it AND why this book/blog appeals to you.

Blogging Assignment #1: January 14, 2011.

  • Topic is "my favorite books." Write about what books you have really enjoyed. When did you read them? Was it an assignment or you just found it on your own? Why did you like this book? You can write as much as you want, but try for a minimum of a solid paragraph.

  • What book are you reading? The author
  • Why did you choose this book?
  • Who is the main character? Describe him/her.
  • What is the character's conflict? Describe that
  • Respond to a a classmates' blog.

Blogging Assignment #3: February 18, 2011.

  • Insert a picture of your novel or author or something relevant to your novel
  • Find a review of your novel online, and then insert a link to this review on your blog page.
  • Briefly summarize what has happened in your novel since you last wrote on your blog
  • Quote a favorite line/paragraph from your novel and discuss why it is your favorite and the importance of it.
